A poem from the soul of a country boy.
Drifting among the yellow hues of time past,
Catching lavender smiles that will always last,
Buttercup memories of grandpas' warm embrace,
Looking glass magic on a young boys' face,

Gentle rain falling upon a white windowsill,
Grandmas' blessing of the Lords lasting wil,.
Gracious prayers after the day is done,
Moonlit walks upon the paths of undying fun,

Jelly bean travels through the portals of time,
Mommas' laughter feeling like an angels chime,
Holding on to the lollipop dreams of times gone by,
Bending down by my bed, Mother,I still cannot cry.
