This is a poem that I wrote for my daughter
I knew the day that you arrived
You were sent from up on high
Like a beautiful little pearl
My precious little girl

With your beautiful little face
I couldn’t help but name you Grace
Your hair has such beautiful curl
My precious little girl

As you grow through the years
I am here to wipe all of your tears
Life can be one big whirl
My precious little girl

I will forever be your mother
Though I will try not to smother
You’re my beautiful little pearl
Always and forever my precious little girl
