A fragment of Ai Kotoba. To interest readers, before I publish it.
He was walking through the forest, heading for the lake, but his traits were being  followed by ghosts, all the ghosts that had been tormenting his mind.
The moment he met her, everything was perfect, but it didn't matter how much he tried, her voice wouldn't return, she had lost it beacause of the torture offered by demons, the demons who are now the ghosts that follow him.
He arrived to the lake and got rid of his clothes, then he took a needle and stabbed his finger, letting a single drop of blood fall to the water. As soon as the blood tear made contact with the lake, the moon above turned to a bright red, and the lake started to shine in a pale silver. He made it to the center of the lake and let his body sink to the bottom, then he waited there, until he fell asleep, in a dream of which he wouldn't return, ever.

He was awake, but he didn't want to open his eyes. Was he dead? Was he alive?
He opened his eyes and saw everything, he was lying on her lap, her emerald green eyes were looking at him with curiosity.
-Mio, I'm sorry, I couldn't get your voice back, please let me go.
She made an expression of annoyment.
-No, I won't let you go.
His face was full of surprise, she had talked, and her voice was as soft as beautiful as only her voice could be.
-Mio, you...
-It has all been thanks to you, because you loved me when nobody else did, because you took me home, because I made you know the story of my past, and you didn't run away, it's all thanks to you. The demons took everything from me, all I had, all I cared for. But you're my angel, you protected me, you made me come back from hell, step by step, and now I'm here, by your side, I'll stay by your side, as you stayed by mine.
He thought that one more time, how could a girl like that, who has suffered what she suffered, feel sorrow for someone else. They loved each other, even when not a word has been said untill now. They aproached each other and sealed their feelings with a kiss. The ghosts were gone.
