a poem of display and thought i
Sun sometimes displays its olden hue
Sometimes hidden to an angry sky
Tempests tore at raindrops glistening light
To mortal man this day is as night

So long we stay thee deity of delight
Masked between heavens distant sight
Yet to one this summer’s days begins
Bathed again in thy golden sunlight
