poem about how to start to dream again
When We Were Young

We traveled to the ends of St. Louis,
      even though we got lost.
Excitement and laughter were the main event,
even when at a high cost.

We would've chased our dreams
to the ends of the world,
but thankfully, our dreams met us halfway,
on that glorious day, when we were young.

Dreams know how to find you,
even when they seem so far away.
Life is full of ups and downs.
You may want to stop dreaming,
even though your dreams are close by,
      looming on the horizon.

When you feel your dream pull away,
Reach back---
to the dreams of when you were young!
