A walk in month of December at small remote hilly village
The month was December,
I went for a walk to remember.
It was beautiful night,
Surroundings were bathing in moonlight.

A cool breeze was blowing,
A silent stream was flowing.
Stars from sky appeared glancing,
Trees seemed to be dancing.

A sweet aroma filled the air,
felt like heaven to be fair.
The trail meandered gently uphill,
the scenic beauty made my thoughts standstill.

The wavering lights of distant home,
looked like yellow sequins on black costume.
The cloudy mist on top,
made me hum nonstop.

I was amazed by the milieu,
Didn't wanted to bid adieu.
I wished I had more time to spend,
But every good thing has an end.

When I recall that night,
my mind is filled with delight.
The month was December,
I went for a walk to remember.
