Inspired by Lost In Timeless Horizons by Nictalgia
Dead. Frozen. Lifeless. That's how everything was right now. The snow had come and has yet to disappear. It freezes everything in it's path, leaving anything it has touched to cringe and hide itself from the cold. It's this time of the year the sun goes into hiding, for the winter has overpowered it.

Creatures stow themselves away, waiting for the storm to pass. Inside is where they hide until the light claims dominance once again. The plantation had either shriveled up and died or lay frozen, captured in the spell of the season. A thick layer of snow covered every inch of ground possible, rolling over hills and mountains. So beautiful, yet deadly.

The frigid ice feels like dry ice against my bare feet. I could feel the shards digging into my skin but at that moment, I didn't care. Today was the end and soon enough, what seemed dead would rise again.

My breathe was visible, coming out in a white puff cloud everytime I exhaled. Most people would've thought I was crazy to be standing out in the freezing cold, bare footed, and wrapped in a thin wool blanket. Others, the ones who thought like me, would look and see that I was just simply a girl standing there waiting. Waiting to get lost in the timeless horizon.
