my heart is thorny like a roses stem waiting to prick your fingers
blood drips from them
hurt pain all twisted in a vine
sharp blades trim away like endless time
time in the shadows of my hearts broken mind
dry no moisture my heart does not cry intertwined in sorrow
intertwined in my eyes
petals withered and beaten
fading slowly my heart done speaking
no more love left
my heart took its last breath
a broken rose is all thats left
