Man, Women, and the ways of the common world, and consequence it carries. . .
Shortly There After 12-18-2011

She had told him not to come back. . . .

It was a fiery fall evening late in October. As if he was a spectator held captive in the window of a life that was not his own, he looked down at his new shoes rustling through the red and orange blaze of the leaves and thought them to be nearly worthless at this point. . .
Rudderlessly roaming the city streets, fazed and unsettled, Looking. . .
for what though, he knew not. . . .
For his Thoughts would not still, or cease to replay that image. .
her utterance for him not to return. .
The plate that put a whole in the wall. . .
right next to his head. . .
And his anger, would not allow him to hear the depths of his heart. . .
crying for retribution. . . He just, walked . . . .

He found himself on a park bench in the center of town. At the mercy of the winds wrath. . .
For his jacket was thin, and would not stand to brave its unyielding whales,
Bombarded with the mental haggling of what he might have done. . .  differently. . .
"Nonsense"!

Then. . .  He met Her. . .
As she approached him, he raised his head, "Her shoes were new too", he thought.
However Everything just seemed to fall in the right place. . .
Everything. . .
He was taken. She spoke of an uncaring brute, who had no sense of a womens sensual desires or intimate needs,
and of the irksome drag of his god forsaken day to day routine. And at that moment, he realized. . .
He. . . had become Jesus. . . .

It was a place he'd never been, but at the same time knew all too well. .
The aroma of her skin. . The warmth of her breath teasing his ear, carrying with it a deep sigh of euphoria.
Smothered in an air of heart throbbing intrigue and physical yearning as he traveled her extremities slow and gentle,
to which She was a complete slave.
He'd been consumed entirely with every thought of fulfilling this prophecy. . .
He, was the Messiah.

Shortly thereafter, reality had taken an unexpected yet familiar twist. . .
Shortly thereafter. . .  The fog of his anger lifted. . . He'd come to terms that it was his own inadequacies.
and denial had landed him in this twilight shroud.
Shortly thereafter. . .  he heard her, back at home and the cries for a life that was virtuous and of substance.
Shortly thereafter, he was humble. .  And knew he was just as at fault if not more than she was. . .
Shortly thereafter. . .
