A college girl finds herself lovesick. It'd be a sweet fairy tale,if the boy were alive.
I walk up the stairs to what will soon be my new dormitory. My parents and I walk slowly up to the door, slowly turn the handle, and walk inside. I look inside. * What a dump * I think to myself. I know they can see my hatred for the place already. I turn to them. "I absolutely adore it!" I shout the lie, and their faces light up. It's my first year in college, so I don't wanna worry them.

Mom looks at me. "We sure are going to miss you. I can't believe I already have to give my baby up to college." My dad hugs her. "Yeah I'm gonna miss you too baby girl, but I'm sure you have some unpacking and what not to attend to, so we'll be on our way."

I give my family one last hug, and then shut the door behind them. I let out a long drawn out sigh.* I have a lot of work ahead of me. * I think to myself. Just then, my cell phone starts to go off. * Don't tell me this place is a dead zone, too.* The first message, is from my brother, Aaron. :

"Hey little sis! Welcome to college life! Want me to come over and help you unpack? I can bring your favorite cookie dough icecream, and I'm only a couple dorms away :)" My big brother always makes me smile.

"Definetely!" I texted back. The next message, was from my best friend Arella:

"We made it to college! Omg, I'm so excited. Okay, so tonight I'm gonna come help you unpack, and tommorow, you can help me, just like we planned, right?"

I smile at her enthusiasm. "Of course! Aarons coming over too though, I hope you don't mind."

The third message was from my mom. "Athena, I stashed some cookies in your bag for later. I'm not telling you which suitcase. It's your motivation to unpack. =)"

I laugh outloud at the thought of this. "LOL, thanks momma!"

Just then, I heard a knock at the door. I look into the hall to see Aarons un mistakeable dark brown hair, and the electric green eyes we share. Though my hair is a bit darker, black, and of course longer.

"Welcome to my dormitory!" I laugh as I open the door wide.

"And welcome to Brimstone University Athena!"

"Thanks!" I pulled him into a big hug.

"Lets get some Ice cream and then unpack." he said, right as Arella walked through the door.

"Ice Cream!" she screamed. " I want some Ice Cream too!"

Aaron had just dove head first into my boxed and pulled out some plastic bowls.

"Heads up lil sis!" he hollered, and threw them all at me at once.

I went into matrix mode and caught them all as they were falling.

"You've got college reflexes already." he laughed.

I started scooping out Arella's Ice Cream first.

"Thanks I think" I giggled, as I handed him a bowl filled with Cookie Dough Ice Creamy goodness.

Arella laughed, as she got handed a huge bowl of Ice Cream. I sat down on the floor next to them, as we all chowed down, and talked about what time tommorow the couch would be delivered.

About ten minutes later, we finished up, and put the dishes in the sink.

"Leta get to unpacking." Aaron said, eager to help me get settled in. He began to take out things from the box marked, "kitchen", while Arella grabbed the box marked "Living room".

"I guess that leaves me with the bedroom." I said with a smile, as I walked toward the door.

After about two hours, I was completely unpacked and ready for college. By that time, it was around eight o clock. Since Arella set up my xbox perfectly, we all played mortal kombat for an hour, and then Arella and Aaron headed back to their dorms. I decided to watch a little television first, and then make a grilled cheese sandwich. I ate the sandwich slowly as I watched some old re runs of "The Three Stooges" on comedy central. I laughed at how curly and moe were always fighting. After awhile though, I began to get tired, so I turned the T.V off and went to bed.

As I layed there on my single sized bed I started looking up at the decorations I had hung earlier. My Mortal Kombat, and Halo posters covered my walls, along with bunches of home photos, some of my brother and I, and some of my parents and I. I was just dosing off when I heard a strange whisper. I opened my eyes and thought I saw a shadow but it quickly disappeared around the corner, and with a blink, it was gone. I felt my body shudder in fear as a sudden chill took over me, and I heard a boys voice, softly whisper "Well, I guess were sharing this dorm now." I grabbed my ipod of the dresser beside me, put in my earphones, turned the music up loudly, shut my eyes tight, and fell asleep, praying that it was just a dream.
