A poem whose meaning is not within its words, but between every line.
I pass someone on the road.  Why are they going so slowly?
Someone passes me.  What a jerk.
Why don’t they all just go like I am?  The same speed as me would solve everything.  Why can’t they understand?
The road observes silently.
Soon the fast guy is gone.
Soon the slow guy is gone.
Soon I am gone.
And the road is still there.
Millions have come before me.
Millions will come after me.
And still the road observes quietly.
The road serves everyone but is not diminished by its service.
Every person must travel the road.
When all is finished, what remains but the road?
