Writers are often classed into two labels. Pansters/discovery writers who write as they go and discover the story as they write. This style is stronge with characters and weak on structure. The other one is plotter. Plotters tend to plot or preplan their stories. There are debates on which is right one. The truth of the matter is that they are both in he right. I am a panster by nature and realized i need to add a bit of plotting eliment in my writing and create a hybrid writing style. It is a difficult journey for me as i have old habits and stuck in certain mindset but i know i will eventually prevail.

what is is my writer identity, i have been questioning myself about that a lot lately. you probably wandering what i mean by a writers identity. for me a writers identity is tied to what they write the type of stories fiction or otherwise. i am huge fan of scifi and fantasy type genres. and i have been attracted to supernatural romance too that have done subtly like the author sherrilyn kenyon . i am attempting scifi and fantasy stories, for my first try i wrote on the fly and thought it would be fantasy but ended up supernatural crime type story. i think i am at a stage of writer life where i am an a chameleon type writer. for me that means i don't write any particular genre but whatever a genre the story ends up being. so my identity for now is chameleon.
