You can't have it both ways
The master of freedom stands at the door;
He promises no passion or indulgence galore.
He rarely projects the power He has,
But those who kneel surely are glad.

The ancient mistress the chattel of baal
Draws with her eyes and flaunts with her veil
Like a serpent her eyes they drink men in
She sways with music and flaunts her dark sin

The Master of hope calls with great care
Righteous and holy; truthful and fair
Jealous and zealous; so tender and meek
He offers hope and grace for the weak

The mistress of magic; the shaman of shame
Shameless and cunning, death it her name
She befuddles the mind and perverts the soul
You’ve seen her seductive mind melding control

The Lord of hosts has made it quite clear
No goddess or god will have any share
Choose the service of the Lord Jesus Christ
Passion and love versus power and night.
