A poem about a mistress who is killed by her lover.
On the dark side of the moon
his mistress waits for him.
The stars are tears she's strewn
about in fitful whim.

Her orchestrated death
was under his control.
She took her final breath,
the moon stole her soul.

She dreams of something more,
but her sorrow holds her back
The man she did adore
had a heart of jet black.

Although she wants to forgive
she simply cannot bare
to watch him happily live
while she is in despair.
