Memories from my childhood about October
Orange, yellow, and scarlet leaves,
Candy corn and a cold morning breeze;
Trick 'r Treating on Halloween night,
Our pillowcases full of sweet delights;
Bright harvest moon smiling down,
Everyone preparing for the season's first snow,
Remembering Octobers of long ago.
