The view from here.
I mourn the loss of moderation.
Intelligence has lost her choice.
Ignorance now rules the day.

Civil wars divide us,
sister against brother,
father against daughter,
as we defile the night,
ready to lay to rest
our deepest fears and grievances.

It is JUST
to deny your rights
if they contradict mine.
Yet you have no recourse,
or expectation,
that you deserve
treatment of the same.

Facts now become prejudice.
I know more about you
than you know about yourself.
You may have lived your life,
but I can size you up
with just a single glance.

I am impervious to your arrogance.
You ignore my wisdom.

United we stand.
Divided we fall.

Get ready for the drop.
