A man loves his ship. The ship loves him. The go everywhere together. Even death.
The ship cut through the black waters, captain cannot take to any faster, any slower, sails no higher, or lower. New canvas caresses the wood it is wrapped upon. An embrace that humans take too much for granted. Too much. Too much.

She loves him, she goes where he spins. Who controls who. They are happily harrowed to travel, never tiring winds blow her along go on my girl, you can hold a bit longer he says. I’ll make it for him, stars are my map, stars are my friends, they never lie, to me at least. Maybe to him. But not me

Some called me mad, don’t buy that battered bitch of a ship. But I felt drawn to pull her from the dredges, rebuild, true craft this is, no chipboard this is boy. Bitch left me, mercilessly took the boy, sold the house. Why did I put this oak down, un-drowns my back this does. Still, this soft bond we have won’t be broken. No man. No woman. No Boy. No girl. No bloody Matthew with his devil’s black book. No-one.

We failed, Black waters engulf us, he cannot keep the wheel whirring. She cannot read my shining friends, black blurs them out. we go together he refuses to leave, she refused to struggle, we embrace once more. Both Nemo together,
now together forever. The robe of the sea covers us
one last time

Cool waters go where they shouldn’t on both of us.

White gates are ahead. warm hug from the dove welcomes us home.
