the time we stood with the Cybermen
and realized then
our way out

We were the Doctor and Rose,
and they called us a pair
the day we knew I had to go
a thought I could't bare

on a history book page
it was the end of a decade
but the start of an age

Long live the times we traveled through
all the TARDIS lights shine just for me and you

I was screaming long live all the
Slitheens we mamed
and bring on the Master
I will use my blaster

I said remember this feeling
I passed the pictures around
of all the years we travel'd round
the Universe fighting the monsters

We were the Doctor and Rose
I traded my shop apron for a ride
and they gave us weird glances when
somebody would die

and my mother was outraged
screaming this is absurd!
cause for a moment a time lord and his crazy girl
got to battle the world

Long live the planets we moved
I had the time of my life fighting Daleks with you

(blah, blah, blah)

Will you take a moment
and promise me this

That you'll be with me forever
but if God forbid fate should step in

and force me into another world
if you get company some day
when they point to my jacket
