Poetry Slam

You ran into my classroom, the poems filled the room as faces danced all through. Hearts spilling out their fears, torments, and deep gashes. They read their hearts out in a poetry slam I will never forget. Now I am one of them, before the classroom of students, I stand. Pouring my heart out too!

I Want To Carry Her
First she was happy, one mistake came, she is forgotten, now in her spare time the knife comes to play, leaves her bleeding on the floor, friends betray her, guys speaking the same lies, she is taken from her home, feeling alone. She does not know now, to her best friend, she is her all!
