Reaching out for help.
Hey everyone, I don't really know how else to do this so I guess I'll just give it a shot.
I've been coming to Writing.com for a long time and recently joined and even wrote a few short stories, which got WAYYYY more feedback than I was expecting. But now, I'm asking for a bit of help.

For the past 4 months (wow that's a long time) I have been writing and trying to publish a screenplay of mine. It is a piece of work that I am passionate about, otherwise I would have given up on it a long time ago, and I have done everything in my power to make it fantastic, and I think that I have finally succeeded. My problems now are not with the writing itself. They're with finding someone to READ the script.

I have been trying to query agents, agencies, production companies, other writers, for months now, and not one has agreed to read my script. They all tell me that they don't accept unsolicited material, and that if I don't have an agent they won't read my work. BUT I'M TRYING TO GET AN AGENT, but they won't read my work because I don't have an agent, because they won't read my work.... and so on.

Basically, I'm becoming very creatively frustrated and have considered giving up on writing. It makes me sad.

I'm hoping that someone on here, awesome as you guys are, will be able to help me find a way to get my script read. I'm not asking for a Spielberg-directed $200 million blockbuster. I would just settle for a few people looking at what I've written.

Anyway, writing this made me even more sad, so I think I'm gonna end it here and go to bed. If anyone can help me out in any way, I would love them forever and appreciate it. If not, thanks for reading this anyway, and you're awesome for wanting to help.
