House of Death

I crept up to the stone cabin, glancing in each direction.  I was miles from the resort, there was no one around.

Raphael’s words resonated in my head as my heart did the same against my ribcage.

“If you find it, you must never look inside, the Casa carries the curse.”

I stepped forward in the searing sunshine, cupping my hand to the window and peering in to the gloom.

Immediately, my heart shattered and a thousand screams shot through my mind as horrified, I knew that the legend was true.
