A short poem about my granddaughter's escapade.
NAUGHTY CHILD

Under a moon
Shining at noon,
She sought a distant star.

Caught in a scheme
A wonderful dream
Beckoned her from afar.

So full of hope
She fumbled and groped
Her fantasy’s bazaar

Childish needs,
Childish deeds,
The broken cookie jar.
