Recapturing the love after losing one's innocence - a rhyming poem.
Once so dismayed, like a tooth with a cavity,
With nary a hope, like wanton depravity,
Achieving objectives and just playing the game,
While sharing emotions was filled with much shame.

Now seeking togetherness their own special way,
It’s love’s celebration on that glorious day,
Quite whisked away, like a witch on a broom,
This lady and gent become the bride and groom.

A gleaming, dark knight and his worthy princess,
A fortuitous couple not feeling much stress,
Let’s honor them kindly, for passions endure,
Forever in peace, for their kiss is the cure.
