waking up, ready for third shift work, its a different world for us
Night breathes its life into me
Waiting for my company
I open weary eyes to these city streets
Walk through dreams of sunshine
I miss you
The moon is my guardian now
The drunks, the losers, the fools
Stumble down darkened alleys
I'll be seeing them at work
Buying smokes, tearing up my floors
Wrecking my store
Making me wish I wasnt there anymore...
