This item comes from a "Can I carry your books home from school," kind of love.
When I saw her across the dance hall,
I felt the call,
Of love so momentous,
It dominated my life,

In love at sixteen,
I'm bursting with joy,
I don't see the danger, of my friend another boy,
Who, like a thief in the night,
Steals my amour,
and leaves me to conceal my passion,
and exit right.
