This is a love poem I wrote about a woman.
Beautiful Dreamer, alone in the night

Wingless bird, she still takes flight

Hitchhiker dancing among the stars

Morning’s light will reveal her scars

The world has shown her its cruel face

But here she is free, in this private place

The night is long and she is wild

Screaming, laughing, singing as a child

I’m enchanted by her ember eyes

Her burning love my sweet demise

Her voice is a melody, resounding in my ears

“Come, my Darling, forget your fears.”

And she opened the door and let me in,

Sharing with me her sensuous sin.

In that night, reality tumbled and fell,

My Beautiful Dreamer, made me a dreamer as well.
