The hope for a pleasant, quiet workday while we approach the weekend - a poem.
Working hopes to keep us busy,
And it truly pays the bills,
And even though we're often dizzy,
This sense of purpose, it instills...

A working life seems not so grand,
But toward the weekend, we all grind.
Careful when we make a stand,
This job's the best that we can find.

Hoping for that yearly raise,
A job promotion's truly best.
Clear that hurdle, one more phase,
And pray to God we pass the test...

We often feel too sick to work,
But drag ourselves so cruelly in.
With each dilemma, same ol' smirk,
"Oh, how or where do I begin?"
