My mother was a lady who was loved by many.

My Mother

My mother was a lady who was loved by many.
Who raised ten children with love in her heart.
She scrubbed our clothes in a big tub of water.
She used Lye soap and her hands would bleed.

In very cold weather she hung them on a line.
Her hands would freeze from the wet clothes,
The winter months were hard for my mother.
She didn't complain of the hardships she had.

There is no better mother we could have had.
She loved all her children as much as the other.
At home she gave us all her love and security.
We never doubted our safety with mother there.

Mother left us back in 1993 she went to heaven.
Now she lives with dad who left us kid's in 1988.
Three of their ten children have gone to heaven.
They've met them in heaven to live for eternity.
