Words of hope after a loved one passes on.
Rise up

Lying in a city of stone
I rest here but not alone
We all have a common fate
We have a stone with our date

Not here no more
Our spirits long ago have soared
We are free to go home
Left behind the skin and bones

Don't mourn for us for we are alive
We learned what was needed in this life
Dry your tears, rest your fears
For we are at home

When you talk we still do hear
Our thoughts are with you my dear
The lesson we learned is
Rejoice knowing we all are one

Now we live through you
Fear not death, for it is just the beginning
The breaking of a new dawn
A life as light

In a chorus we sing
Rise up
Rise up
Rise up
