A piece I wrote about a boy I couldn't get enough of.
Everything you say and do is Gold. And I--am King Midas.
         I crave your voice.
         I ache for your words.
         I love the brilliance of your every utterance.
And I will learn the hard way--that all that glitters is not gold.
But I will always long for your touch. Which is hundreds times more destructive and addictive.
And I will never learn my lesson.
Because I wish not to.
