This is the poem that launched my story "The Unexpected World of Adrianna Price"
The Finish Line
By: Audrey D. Clark
Written: July 7, 2012

A cold wind speaks to me.
The clouds sit around hearing the story
of how brave a woman like me can be.

The wind gives me the glory...
Tells me how simple it is
to have fun and enjoy all its glory...

The life of creativity, that is.
Letting your soul
display the words that give you bliss

and conquers your goal
of finishing your tale
of love and understanding...the mole

in the institution that sails
in and tries to break
the heart of the heroine...tales

of two men...who ache
to be the heroine's #1
lover, but knows she makes

the final decision.  Done
will be the hurt.
Gone will be the ton

of bricks that assert
her will without reason.
The dirt

will be revealed.  Seasons
will change, and love
will reign supreme.  No reason

to stop now...above
the clouds,  the wind applauds.
Now it's time to find the heroine her love.
