About my granddaughters
Granddaughters, Mine
Written, June 13, 2013

WOW!  Seven granddaughters pretty and strong
You guessed it, none can do no wrong!
Entered this world with trauma and drama
Seven granddaughters and only three mommas

What gift to a family that is female driven
With their roots in a little town called Screven
Born to live and to learn to give
They all were taught early to take the pill

Growing up fast surrounded by boys
These girls are lucky that they are not tomboys
We love them each and every one
And find much joy while playing with them in the sun

Granddaughters, mine are eager to please
With joy and kindness during the summer’s breeze
Who could ever ask for anything more
Thank you God for giving granddaughters to old folks

Listening to their laughter is full time
Those seven precious granddaughters of mine
I must admit that seven is a lot
But, then there are grandsons, and nine I’ve got!
