A poem about a man's love for "her"
I've heard of this once before
This feeling that I must adore
A gentle breeze carried her in
And left her at my door

She was the prettiest thing I ever saw
She entered my heart and left me raw
She put back the broken pieces
And left my mind an awe

I gave her love so she opened her heart
And  I couldn't find the words to start
On a broken table she laid
And I knew I'd seen true art

But one day she had to go
I can still see her across the meadow
Blowing in the breeze like a flower in spring
She had left her afterglow
