Samples on how to conduct a poetry analysis
Within these entries you will find samples of a poetry analysis done in the way described in "Analyzing Poetry [E]. I hope to add more as time goes on.

To do a true, faithful analysis, one should set aside a few hours to devote to a single piece of work.

Is it tedious?

Sure

Is it worth it?

Absolutely!

By doing an in depth analysis, you learn more about the structure of poetry, the ins and outs of the poem, the process that goes through the poet’s mind, and ways in which the poet uses words on a small scale to convey meanings on the large scale.

Over time, you will be a better poet for the effort.

Not to mention, it can be a great source of inspiration for you with further writings.
