Canine Curse

Author's Note: I had basically started this story a month ago, and I feel bad because I promised a writing.com friend I finished it. I basically had writer's block and lost interest quickly, so I made Fleas in order to make up for that. Here it is though, my finished and completed story, and my longest one yet. Also, I think it may be my best one.

It was a bright day, the sun was glistening and shining upon a pristine pond in the middle of a park's pond. A man named Lex, was walking his loyal canine companion through this park. Lex Anderson was always a very kind man, almost too kind for his own good. He was a kind man, never bursting into anger and never wanting to hurt anyone. The most trusted being in his entire world, was his own pet bulldog, Rex. Lex never treated Rex like a dog, because for him he was more like a brother. At least... That's what Lex thought was the case, however he couldn't be more wrong.

It's hard to judge or interpret what a mere animal could think of his owner, whether a dog was just using his owner or whether he actually cared about him. Lex was convinced however, that his dog Rex truly loved him as much as Lex loved him. However, Lex learned the truth on that fateful sunny day. He learned that you could never truly trust an animal. After walking Rex in the park for a bit, Lex decided to visit a local lucky charm and magic shop. Every single charm Lex ever bought from that store always provided him with good luck. At least, that's what he believed until that very fateful day. Lex arrived at the store and tied the bulldog's leash to a nearby bicycle rack.

Lex reached into his pocket and handed Rex a doggy treat. After his loyal canine finished his treat, Rex had to clamp a muzzle on his loyal canine companion. Lex hated doing this to him, it felt so demeaning to his pet and best friend. However, there was finite law in the city that dictated that dogs like bulldogs and rottweilers had to be muzzled when left alone outside. Lex swallowed his pride and began attaching the brown leathery muzzle to Rex. He pats the dog on the head to relax him, and enters inside the musty, dirty shop.

Lex goes over the lucky charm section of the shop, only to find that there were none left. The people in the city were very superstitious and a lot of them believed the charms gave actual good luck. The good luck charms were a high-ticket item, and it was no doubt they were sold-out. On top of that, as rumor goes a person is only able to use one good luck charm three times each. Afterwards, it does nothing at all. Lex looked through the dusty shelf, but found nothing of any value. Out of the corner of his eye, Lex noticed a rather scrawny young man approaching him.

The boy had shaggy brown hair, wore blue jeans and wore a t-shirt that said "Will rage against machine for money". He looked at Lex up and down, as if he was casing him to see if he was a thief. Lex stood 6 feet tall, wore black buttoned shirt, along with a pair of blue jeans. "Excuse me." Said Lex, "Is there a reason your sizing me up?" The boy suddenly got nervous and said, "Oh sorry, man! The boss just said to keep an eye out for crooks. I'm rather new at this, so I wanted to make sure you weren't jacking the store."

Lex, being the nice guy he is just smiled and said, "Hey no problem, we were all new at a job at one point." A goofy smile crossed the youth's face. "Okay, so what are you looking for today, sir?" Asked the youth, to which Lex responded with, "I was looking for a good luck charm. Looks like your sold out so, I'll have to take my leave." Lex turned around, but before he could leave, the youth shouted "Wait, man! We got in a new charm today." He said, while running to the back of the door and bringing with him, a single charm. "Yeah, we got this charm in with a bunch of other ones." He states, "The weird thing about it, is that it isn't catalogued, as our other charms are. So, I'm not even sure if this one is lucky or not."

Lex looked at the charm, and it seemed to entrance him a little. There was something about this charm that was calling to him, something that was drawing him to it. The charm had a red gem embedded in front, and the main part of the charm looked like it was made out of silver. "How much for it?" Lex asked bluntly. "Huh?" Asked the youth, "You want this crappy thing? Man, we could just put an order out for an actual lucky charm, this thing probably isn't even that lucky." Lex smirked, "I don't care if it's lucky or not, there's just something about it I can't put my finger on." The youth immediately handed the charm to Lex, without question.

"Here take it man, if it's not in the registry, than it technically isn't merchandise. I have no idea where we got it from, so go on and keep it." Stated the youth outright, as he grabbed a nearby broom. "Seriously?" Asked Lex, "Thank you! This'll make a great decoration!" Lex gripped his charm in one hand and ran outside happily. When he got outside, he saw the strangest sight. Rex wasn't barking excitedly, pacing or jumping up and down. He was just sitting there patiently, as if he was just... Waiting for him. However, Lex didn't think much of it, and untied Rex. He unfastened the muzzle, and the dog immediately shook his head in joy. The white bulldog seemed strangely cheerful.

Usually, the dog was always in a somewhat grumpy or angry mood. Whatever the case, Lex brought the dog and the charm inside. Lex was readying to use the charm, supposedly the charm has to be pressed against the right palm of a person in order for it to work. Before Lex could do it, Rex began happily barking at him. "Hey boy!" Said Lex, "You probably want to give this a shot as well, huh? Not sure if it works on dogs, but let's give it a shot!" Lex pressed the charm against Rex right front paw. Then, Lex took the amulet and pressed it against his right hand. "Hey, maybe our new good luck will concern both of us at the same time! Wouldn't that be great, Rex?" Asked Lex, however the bulldog had already began walking away.

Lex didn't think much of Rex's odd behavior, instead deciding to go to bed. The day had passed so quickly, yet despite this the time was only 9:00, Lex never got tired that quickly. Lex entered his bedroom, and looked at himself in the mirror. Strangely, he couldn't stop imagining himself in Rex's body. Strange thoughts circled his mind as he gazed at his reflection, he experiencing an odd desire to become a dog. "Odd." Lex thought to himself, "Why would I want to be a dog?" Again, it was rather minor and didn't bother Lex a whole bunch. Lex went into the washroom, and brushed his teeth. He hopped into bed, just as Rex slinked into the room.

The bulldog has very strange timing, almost as if he knew Lex was just about to go to bed. Lex hopped into bed and pulled up the sheets. As soon as his head hit the pillow, he fell directly into slumber land. The dream seemed strangely realistic, and Lex had a strange amount of control over his dream self. He walked along the street and noticed everything was... Strangely nostalgic. People, places and animals were strangely placed in the exact same way as the day that Lex bought Rex. Lex continued to walk down the street until he came across the pet store in which he purchased Rex.

Almost like some kind of horror film, Lex a strange foreboding feeling. Something deep inside him didn't want to go anywhere near this place. Lex wondered to himself, why he would get such a strange negative feeling from such a happy memory? Whatever the case, Lex decided to enter the building anyway. Pushing open the door, Lex suddenly found himself watching his own body enter the building. Lex was now watching from a different vantage point and a very different body, Lex felt very small, and defenseless as his body entered the building. Lex felt rather pudgy, on top of being trapped in a strange glass cage. Lex couldn't see colors, only seeing a strange black and white tinted world. The towering copycat wandered closer and closer to Lex. He couldn't even stand up on two legs, to get a good look at the clone's face.

"This one looks like he'd make a great pet!" Exclaims the copy, as he reached towards Lex and gripped him by the armpits. Lex strangely felt no need to struggle as the copy held him up to eye level. Finally, Lex realized what is happening, he was seeing from Rex's point of view! After the Lex clone pet him down on the ground, the clone walked up to cashier and said "I'll take him!" Lex waited patiently on the ground, panting heavily. It felt strangely liberating to be a dog, it was an all new sensation that nobody had ever experienced before! However, Lex couldn't shake a nagging feeling about how weird the entire dream scenario was.

The truth of the matter was, that it didn't feel like a dream like all. Everything felt too strangely real, it was almost scary how realistic the entire dream was. It felt less like a dream, and more like the actual event from a different body and perspective. After the clone paid the man, he came up and clamped a collar around Lex's neck. Lex let out a happy bark, as the clone fastened a red leash onto his collar. Lex follows the clone outside the door, and Lex took note of how strange being a dog was. He could smell a million new smells, hear a billion new sounds, yet see only a mere few colors. Lex followed behind the clone, feeling extremely weird walking on all four legs.

"Well..." Began the clone, "What should I name you?" The clone paused a second and stood still, not turning his face to Lex for an instant. "I was going to name you Rex, because that rhymed with Lex. However, I think I'll keep that name, while you become Lex." The clone turned towards Lex, and he could see that the clone had no face. Chills ran down every pore in Lex's new canine like form, the being was truly scaring him. "You are Lex, the dog!" Exclaimed the being, "And I am Rex, the human!"

The panic overtook Lex and he began barking out of complete fear. No matter how hard Lex tried to will himself awake, he couldn't. "Bark all you want, little dog! You can't escape destiny!" Shouted the being once more, causing Lex to try to run away from him. However Rex pulled back on the leash, and began dragging Lex toward him, Lex struggled more and more. Lex opened his eyes quickly, and looked down at his body. Completely human, it was nothing but a nightmare. However, through Lex's grogginess, he failed to take notice that he was sleeping on his side with his arms and legs spread wide across. Almost, like how a dog would sleep...

Lex wandered over to the bathroom, still only half awake. Before he could throw some water in his face, he got a good look at his face in the mirror. His face seemed to have a strange amount of wrinkles, and his lips were dark black. Suddenly, memories came to Lex that he never had before. Lex remembered growing up with a bunch of puppies that were all his size. The memories were all tinted in black and white, almost as if he was looking back at old photos from the fifties. Suddenly, it felt like Lex's name didn't belong to him. In his mind, Lex kept mistakenly referring to himself as Rex, as if his thoughts were beginning to mirror of his own dog.

It didn't take a genius to figure out he was changing into his pet. "Rex!" Shouted Lex, at the top of his lungs. However, Rex didn't come, so Lex decided to search the house for him. However, he was halted by the good luck charm, sitting on the window sill. He didn't put it there, he had put it to his bedroom. However, before he could reach for it, the light from the full moon shone down upon it. The moonlight was captured by the medallion was reflected onto Lex's being. Lex looked at the rock as it glowed, a strange green haze covering the amulet. Lex blinked, only to be greeted by the theft of his twenty-twenty eyesight. All the color in his vision, was now gone, as he now saw only in black and white. His eyes became the beady black glazed-over eyes of a dog.

The charm trapped him in a haze, and began to accelerate his condition. His nose blackened, the width and size of it decreasing to an insane degree. His ears grew in size, picking up sounds he was never able to hear before as a human. He was trapped, unable to properly move and being slowly turned into his pet. His size decreased, six foot tall man becoming five feet tall, than three feet, now barely over one foot tall. The tiny man was in for a shock, as his nose and mouth began to fuse together. Forming into a small canine muzzle, his faced reformed with a series of painful crunches.

His skeletal structure shrank along with his body, turning him into a very short and tiny person. His now miniscule body became slightly pudgy, as his bone structure continued to alter. A sharp cracking sound erupted from his spine, as it forced his stature into standing on all fours. His fingers contorted and combined together, forming tiny dog feet. His feet followed suit, gaining the same structure as his hands. Rough pads began to push out from his skin. These strange appendages formed into paw pads, these paws caressed the carpet Lex was standing on as they formed.

His arms and legs shrunk, the bones inside them painfully reforming to match his new physique. His skeleton began to reform completely, his legs were now small and bulky. Next, his tailbone ached and it was followed by a strange formation on his backside. He began growing a tail, as the strange appendage poked outwardly. It formed into a tiny stubby tail that jetted from his backside. His lips grew is size, as did his tongue. His tongue drooped out from his mouth, which opened revealing a large set of canine teeth. Lex began to pant heavily, as his body became unnaturally hot. A small coat of fur began to spring out of every inch of his skin. This fur spread across his body, and was white in color.

"Rex, help m---" Lex managed to stutter out, before his voice was silenced forever. It was replaced with canine barking and growling. The change must've taken hours, as by the time the glow of the amulet began to fade, it was already morning. Suddenly, the amulet stopped glowing and Lex was able to move, however... He wasn't able to do so gracefully. Moving around on four legs was a new sensation for Lex to get used to. At first, he kept thinking he could stand on two legs. However, that only caused him to fall on his face a lot. Eventually, Lex receives more of Rex's memories. "Why is this happening?!" Thought Lex, who was bewildered and confused. Soon enough, Lex heard a voice shout from behind, "Master are you alright?!" It was Rex, who came into view wearing Lex's Body. Rex looked at his former master, with an extremely sad look on his face.

"Master, are you alright? Here, I think I know how to fix this!" Said Rex, who grabbed Lex's paw, and quickly pressed the medallion into it. A golden glow erupted from the medallion, and the glowing artifact quickly turned into dust. "You fool!" Exclaimed Rex, "Your body is now mine! Now you wear my body in return!" Lex let out a low growl, getting angry at the fact that his own pet would betray him so. "Don't try to act tough, we both know you could never harm what used to be your body." Rex coldly stated, "Speaking of bodily harm, I think you forgot about a little something. About how you had me... FIXED!" At the loud uttering of those words, Lex whipped around to get a good look at his severed manhood.

Lex hoped that Rex was bluffing, however... Lex had become Rex in every way, probably even in equipment. To confirm this, Rex gripped Lex when he was in mid-strut. Due to the muscular nature of Lex's body, Rex was able to pick up the bull-dog with relative ease. Holding the dog in front of the mirror, Lex's mouth stood agape at the fact that he was indeed neutered. "How do you think that made me feel?!" Asked Rex angrily as put Lex back on the ground, "Oh, but you think you did nothing wrong. In a way, you actually didn't. You were a great master to me, however that's all you were. I looked at you as if I was only using you, after all I am, or was an animal with no base human emotions. However, things have changed..."

Rex started petting Lex on the head before continuing, "As soon as you touched that amulet, a special curse was released. The amulet transfers all it's knowledge into one being, the most cherished person or animal that the one who touched the amulet loves the most. That was me, and now I have you're life and you're body. In about an hour, I'll have the rest of your memories and all of your personality as well. Then, it'll be over for you. Now..." Rex said, as he walked to the back of the kitchen. The former canine came back with a leash. "Let's go for a walk!"

Lex didn't want to fight it, mainly because part of him actually wanted to for a walk and part of him was convinced it was a dream. Unfortunately to Lex, it wasn't a dream at all, but a waking nightmare that he would be forced to live for the rest of his now shortened life-span. Lex was fitted with Rex's former collar, which was than fastened to a leash. "It's time for our final walk together Lex. In an hour our roles will be forever reversed." Said the greedy dog turned man, as he began to open the door. As soon as that door opened, Lex's new canine senses went into overload. New smells bombarded his tiny and sensitive nose, as his ears pick up sounds that no normal human could ever hear.

Lex and Rex walked out the door, their roles completely reversed and their lives forever changed. Lex couldn't help lament on how his own pet was so greedy, as to steal his owner's body. He felt even worse about pressing the medallion into Rex's paw in the first place, maybe if he never went to buy that lucky charm, none of this would have ever happened. Lex encountered another dog, a golden retriever and out of curiosity did something very goofy and odd. Lex uncontrollably sniffed the dog's butt, yet part of Lex just thought this was a natural occurrence. Rex laughed when he saw this, which struck the other dog's owner as insanely odd.

Lex found himself quickly adjusting to mindset and instincts of a dog, much to his dismay. The world was black and white, with was distinctly out of focus to the new canine's eyes. This walk was never-ending torture to what remained of Lex's mind. Finally, Lex and Rex returned home, as Lex's mind continued to slip away. His eyes began to glaze over, as he entered the house that used to belong to him. "Well, it looks like you're mind is now toast Lex, or should I say Rex. I will be assuming your name and from now on, buddy. To the victor, go the spoils!" Gloated the new Lex, who mockingly scratched behind the ears of the man turned dog. Lex's mind continued to slip away, slowly and slowly. Until, all that remained was the dull and listless mind of a dumb dog.

The new Rex enjoyed the ear scratching and barked happily. The new Lex thought he had won however... He gained the former Lex's personality along with his emotions and feelings. The sadness that Lex felt about being betrayed was now overwhelming Rex's mind, his brain being clouded and tears streaming down his cheek. "What have I--- What ha---" The new Lex stuttered out, "What have I done?! He was my friend, and my master! No, I refuse to give into human emotions! Yet... Yet.. I AM THE HUMAN NOW!" Shouted the human, as fell to the ground crying. The new Lex found that not only was he a terrible person, but also a terrible friend. It was to be expected of a dog, who nothing of the affections of his former master. It was something that he was going to have to deal with, something that would forever haunt him...

Soul Swine

Author's Note: The title is wordplay that nobody is going to understand just by looking at it. The title is meant to sound similar Solstheim, an island from Elder Scrolls III, and Elder Scrolls V. I'm not sure if I'm being too clever or not clever enough...

I had a strange dream that night, one that'll never forget. Instead of my usual goofiness of swapping bodies with Ronny through lucid dreaming, I had a dream in which I astral projected my spiritual form. In this dream, my soul was being sucked into a body, one that I couldn't make out. I screamed as I felt me very life essence being stretched to fill out this new form, to inhabit this body. I assumed the soul belonging to this creature, did the same in the presence of my body. My screaming echoed, through the purplish haze of the dream-scape.

In a flash, I open my eyes and was greeted by... Sunshine? That was odd, I always keep the blinds shut. I could hear numerous sounds, like those of pigs squealing and chickens clucking. However, they were extremely loud, it was as if my senses had altogether evolved. I found myself lying in the middle of a giant puddle of mud, laying flat out on my side. I tried to move, which was difficult as first for me, as my body felt strangely hefty and fat. I managed to roll onto my stomach, and hobbled onto a four-legged stance.

I tried to convince myself I wasn't trapped in a foreign body, however the sensations felt too real. My body had an unnatural amount of fat folds, and I was too overweight to even run that far. If this was one of my lucid dreams, than it was a very impressive one. Moving around was much different, I couldn't seem to run and my body didn't corner as well. My eyes were located to the side of my head, splitting my vision and making everything look very weird. Colorization to my new foreign eyes was also a problem, things seemed to be the wrong color that they would be in real life. My hearing was even worse, I was picking up sounds that I shouldn't be able to pick up.

My finger and toes were completely numb, as if I didn't even have them. I started to figure out what creature I had become, however I needed one last thing to confirm this. I looked around through the mud strewn wasteland, and spotted numerous pigs of varying sizes and genders. That confirmed it, I was trapped in the body of a pig. A sweaty, extremely fat and very ugly pig. I walked over to another pig that was closest to me, my fat folds producing a large amount of sweat as I trotted through the mud. My hooves stomped through the mud, producing numerous awful sounds that were driving me insane.

I had a strange question on my mind, "Do these swine see me as one of their own?" This question was confirmed when the smaller pig barely noticed me, and started rolling in the mud. I was sure the young pig wanted me to join in and play with him, however I had to get out of this waking swine nightmare. Suddenly, with my much larger ears I heard the farmer call out, "Suey! Dinner time, hogs!" I was going to ignore the old man's call, however a loud voice inside my head shouted "Food!". I could smell the stench of the rotted food through my large snout, and it strangely excited me. My porky instincts were driving me towards the filling trough, as numerous sweaty pigs began to race me there. I shoved my fat head into the middle of the trough, the pigs beside me doing the same.

I fought for control, yet my brain continued to scream out "Food! Food!". I mashed face into the slop, with no pride and zero dignity. There was rotten apple cores, numerous discarded food-stuffs and a lot of other horrible pieces of refuse. However, to my ever growing pig-like mind, it was all I could ever and all that I ever needed. A pig beside me tried to muscle himself in and steal an apple core that I had my eye on, however using my hefty weight I shoved him back. I continued on my pilgrimage to devour, part of my was unfortunately enjoying being a fat slob of a creature.

It was only a matter of time, before me and the rest of the porkers finished our dinner. Afterwards, everything went back to before. Pigs continually wallowed lazily in the mud, and I continued to think of a way out of this. I was a rather fat pig, I can only assume a prize-winning one. It was only a matter of time before I was slaughtered and packed into a can of spam. However, that worry was quickly brushed aside, as I had a sudden desire to play in the mud. I threw my large amount of fat into a pile of mud and rolled around. My fatty flesh slapped against the mud, as I playfully threw my hooves in the air.

I couldn't control myself, I was just having way too much fun to worry about anything now. A few other pigs joined me, as I wallowed in the mud and continued to splash around. A pig landed on top, whacking his fat stomach against my face. It was a strange feeling, to be livestock and yet be so carefree. Something scary was that I was considering staying this way, just a 300 pound pig for the rest of my now short life. However, I quickly realized that it was the pig part of my talking, in actuality I didn't really want any of this. I played for a bit, until I regained my sanity and began to stand up on all fours again.

I needed a plan of attack, and to return to normal. There were few options for me, and the worst of all of them was being taken out to slaughter. I had a feeling if I stayed in this form, I wouldn't get a "Babe The Pig" happy ending. The only way out, that I could think of, was to go back to sleep and try to astral project. The sleeping part wouldn't be hard, my body felt strangely tired and all of the sweating and eating added to that feeling. I rested my fat body in a pool of mud, and started to nod off.

Due to my lucid dreaming experience, I found my way back to the purplish dreamscape. I was wearing the dream form of a pig, one that was somehow fatter than the pig I previously was. There, I saw my human body once again. Letting out a satisfied squeal of excitement, I dashed for my body. I reached my human vessel, and my soul began to reform to fit my regained vessel. I woke up in my room, on the floor and looked around. I was certainly back to normal, but was it all a dream? To my surprise, I found it wasn't a dream at all. My body was perched on all fours, I was chewing on a blanket on my bed and drool coated my T-shirt.

I had never heard of a person acting like a pig instead of sleepwalking before, and the experience felt all too real. I stood up back on two legs, and decided to get something to eat. Than I remembered something, there was nothing in the fridge left to eat. There were a lot of foods I suddenly didn't have the stomach for. The keys one being bacon, and ham. Although... I had a strange craving for some rotten apple cores. I was also in the mood for a mud bath, oddly enough...

The Beast That Is Burdened

You ever hear the phrase that goes "Blink and you miss it"? Well, that happened to me once and it was the worst case of whiplash ever. I was sitting in my room one day, building some giant robot model kits I had purchased online. I was about to fit the next joint in and then I blinked. Everything had changed, no longer was I staring down at my model kits. Instead, I was looking down, at a grassy piece of the outdoors. Yet... The grass's color seemed off, in fact a lot of the colors in my peripheral vision seemed off. However, that was the least of my worries right now.

My body different, it felt bulkier and more muscular. For some reason, I was crawling around on the ground on all fours and my feet and hands were completely numb. I had some kind of rope around my neck, yet I couldn't move my arms to pull it off. I decided to stop and ask the person who tied this rope around me where he's taking me. However, all that came out was a loud "Hee-haw!" My legs were thin and what constituted my feet were tiny. It was hard to walk on there tiny and hard feet at first, but I quickly became strangely used to it. They were like small tap-dancing shoes glued to my feet, and they felt very strange and hard

My lips seems to move off and all directions as I attempted to make some kind of words come out. The man, who was dressed like a farmer just looked at me with a goofy smirk. Suddenly, it all made sense, I wasn't even human! That animal sound and this strange body was almost like a... like a... However, before I could finish that thought, I the farmer gave me a swift smack on the backside that forced me to make louder braying sounds.

"Hurry along, Aesop, ya' old jackass!" Said the angry farmer, who held the rope. What the farmer said was true, I had become a donkey! I was considering attempting to tell the farmer I was human, but how was I going to do that? All I could do was move lips around and bray, I was incapable of speech. I had no fingers to write a message and even if I wrote a message in the mud with my hooves, the farm would probably just stamp on it and smack my backside again. So I decided to trudge on, with no other options open to me I followed the farmer. He led me to a town, a farming community selling goods and animals. That's when it struck me, I was about to be sold!

I bet I wasn't even worth that much, after all I'm just a farm animal! I was begrudgingly lead by the farmer through the groups of people selling chickens, as I put up with the loud animal noises penetrating my ears. My hooves clacked annoying against the rocks and dirt, as I uncontrollably whipped my tail in an attempt to kill flies buzzing around my backside. It was annoying and embarrassing to say the least, however I had to put up with it. I was in a body that wasn't my own, if I snapped and tried to escape, I'd get shot by some dumb red-neck farmer. I had no change of escape, only to spend the rest of eternity as a beast of burden.

Why didn't I get turned into something cute looking like a dog or a cat? Then, I could use my adorableness to get out of this situation. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in the body of some mangy donkey, who probably has the fortune of being in my body, where he won't be forced to be a farm animal slave for the rest of his life. The mere thought of it started to get me antsy, however the farmer patted my snout with his left hand in order to calm me down. "Easy there, Aesop! Here!" He said, while handing me a carrot. Nervously, I munched on it and found that it was strangely the best tasting carrot I ever had. It must've been my new taste buds at work, as I usually hated carrots!

The farmer leads me through the market and I nearly smack into a nearby pig, who's sweaty body grazes my mangy fur. I was strangely getting used to walking on hooves, which was a bit frightening to me. The last thing I wanted was getting to being a big, ugly and mangy jackass. I was brought to an old lady, who was dressed in similar farming gear. "Wow, looks like you got a good one there, George!" She said with a thick redneck twang to her voice. Her voice was loud, even louder than it should've been due to my large ears. George removes the rope, and starts doing business transactions with the woman. However, George and the woman had their backs turned me to the whole time, so I couldn't even see how much I was worth!

"I could breed that one with a good ol' Jenny!" Said the female farmer, which caused me to react with a confused "Hee-haw!" George looked at me and said, "Looks like the old bugger is excited!" I didn't want to be bred, and I didn't want to be treated like livestock! All I was doing was trying to build from a model-kit, when did that become a crime of the gods?! I attempt to slink off, but George catches me and gives me another smack on my backside. "Where you going, boy? You ain't gonna find a Jenny over there!" Afraid of getting smacked again, I quickly amble over to the older farm woman. "Samantha's gonna take good care of you, Aesop! I promise!"

When I thought I was free of getting smacked, I felt another sharp slap on my backside. This time from Samantha, who was trying to get me to follow her. I swear to god, I've been smacked on the rear more times today than that guy from Animal House. I followed Samantha, only to come face to face with a large livestock carrier fastened to a train. Full of squealing pigs, whinnying horses, and mooing cows. "Oh no!" I thought to myself, "I am not getting in there!" However, I had no choice in the matter, so I ambled into the carrier. When I entered, the stench of fellow farm animals filled my nostrils and the sound of clanking hooves upon the steel floor echoed through my ears.

I had to deal with fat cows bashing their heads into me, Pigs attempting to crawl under my legs, and horses neighing in my ears. The ride was long, and I fear my human mind was slipping, due to all the time I was spending with farmhouse crew here. When we arrived at the farm, my mind was mostly gone. My eyes were glazed over, and I cared only about existing. However, before my mind faded, I heard a voice whisper, "Blink!", which causes me to do just that. I blink and I'm back in my room. No long tail, no big flapping lips. I was crouched on all fours, with pieces of my model kit jammed in my mouth. I spit them out immediately and stood up.
"Well..." I said, "That happened." I decided to immediately repress what just happened, and promised myself I'd never go near farm ever in my entire life.

Straight On The Horse's Rear

I had no idea where, I was stumbling through the door outdoors in an extremely dimly-lit area. Where was I? I'm sure I was sleeping in my own bed, is this a nightmare or some kind of freakish sleep-walking session? As I stumbled through the darkness, a sharp pain began to ripple through my body. I fell on the ground in pain, as I felt my muscles begin to bulge. My body started to become extremely muscly, as I felt my arms and legs gain new muscles. I fell onto my hands and knees, as a sharp pain erupted from spinal column.

I could feel my entire skeleton structure shift, as I was forced onto all fours. My fingers and toes began to merge with each other, clumping together and forming something completely new. I couldn't see much of these changes in the darkness, yet I could very well feel them. My fingers and toes continued to morph and change, becoming something much hard and way smaller. When these new "feet" hit the ground, they made a strange clacking sound. Almost like the hoof of an animal hitting the dirt... Wait a minute, was I becoming a hooved animal?

I fought hard against the feeling, yet I couldn't deny the strangeness of my ongoing transformation. My arms and legs began to change shape. They became much skinnier, yet at the same time more muscular so I could continue to stand up. Once my arms and legs had undeniably become the legs of an animal, the transformation worked it's way up to my torso. I could the muscles and joints forming, as my torso changed shape. Becoming less of a human torso, it became more much large as the bone structure making it up completely rearranged. My bulky and muscular torso finished growing, as the transformation commenced to my rear. As with my torso, my rear-end grew larger and gained an insane amount of muscles. It was becoming so large, it would make a stripper blush!

As my butt expanded in size I took notice of something, my clothes has completely disappeared without a trace! It was as if they had disappeared as soon as the transformation began, yet I had become quickly and strangely used to it in a short time. The oddest part of it all was, it didn't feel wrong. I was now used to the idea that I was turning into an animal with no way out of it, that I had no longer had any need for garments. My large rear end was now unrestrained by any and all forms of clothing.

Speaking of my butt, I now felt a strange feeling erupt from my tailbone. I was sure it was a tail forming, as this new appendage took form and erupted from my backside. This appendage quickly became covered in shaggy fur, as it finished developing. Speaking of fur, I soon began to feel every pore on my skin erupt with follicles of stringy hair. This mangy coat soon blanketed every part off my body, including my massive rear.

Soon enough the spreading fur reached my legs, as it began to sweep through them like a wave. The fur blanketed my legs, and strangely enough, a massive amount of fur pooled at the bottom of my legs. Almost like fur leggings, my new legs had a massive of fur at the hilt near the hooves. My hair soon followed suit, as it began to become shaggy and unkempt. My hair grew out, into what I could only assume was a mane.

My unkempt mane was soon followed by the elongation of my neck, which began to grow larger. The mane grew longer as well, in order to follow the growing of my neck. As soon as my neck had finished enlarging, the final changes took hold of my head. My face began to push out and started to form a muzzle, my mouth growing much larger as I felt my teeth become more rigid. My teeth began larger and tougher, as my nostrils began to flare at an alarming rate. During this flaring of my nostrils, I found my nose itself sinking into my forming muzzle. My nose disappeared leaving the two flaring nostrils, which began to grow in size. My nostrils grew massive, allowing me to smell new things that I never thought I could.

My nostrils ached, giving me a strong desire to wipe my nose. However, my arms could no longer bend that way and I forced to just bare with it. Suddenly, my eyes began to move as my muzzle continued pushing forward. As my eyes moved to the side of my head, some of the colorization from them began to fade. It didn't really matter, as I couldn't see much in this state of darkness anyway. My ears began to strangely twitch, as they increased in side. My ears grew larger and larger, until finally they flopped over on my head. Finally, I tried to sputter cry for help and see if anybody would run to my aid. "Hel...p me-e-NEEEIGGGH!!!" I sputtered out before my voice forever changed into that of a horse's whinny. That's when it struck, and I realized I had turned into a horse!

With the transformation complete, I had no idea what to do now! I was trapped in a new body, possibly forever! There were no other options open to me, aside from moving forward. I trotted along the grass, taking notice of the grass and of all the new sounds I could hear with my new sensitive hearing. Eventually, I figured out that trotting was getting me nowhere. I began to gain new instincts and these instincts were crying out for me to gallop! I begin trotting faster and faster, until taking off on a full-speed dash. My hooves clopped along the ground as I ran, I had never felt so free in my life! Part of me strangely felt that this situation wasn't a bad thing, after all Horses are my favorite animals!

Eventually, after galloping for a few hours I stumble across a farmhouse. As much as I'd enjoy the life of a free wild animal, I'd like to have my speed and muscular body put to good use. Maybe if I stayed in contact with other humans as much as possible, I might be able to break this strange and unexplainable spell on me. I trotted towards the farmhouse and took notice of some nearby cows. I accidentally bumped into one, causing it to moo loudly. A light turned on in the farmhouse, as I now knew I was caught. A young man in his pajamas wandered out of the house with a flashlight, and pointed it directly at me.

"Pa!" Exclaimed the boy as took notice of my form, "You won't believe it! It's a Clydesdale!" I decided not to freak out the boy and I stood gentle and still as he approached me. "Wow! You to be a brave lil' stallion, ain't ya?" Said the boy with a redneck twinge. The boy looked to be about sixteen, and stared in awe as I remained motionless and calm. "Boy, are you having one of your sleepwalking trips again?" Said the father, as he opened the door and walked outside. He took notice of me, and stood agape at the sight he was seeing. "No way!" Exclaimed the father as ran over to me.

The father took his left hand, and gently patted the front of muzzle. "This one seems well-trained, pa! I wonder if he is!" Said the boy, as he took his left hand and matted my mane down with his hand. I let out a playful and excited whinny, as he continued to rustle my mane. "Let's see how well he's trained! Horse, can you count to ten?" I thought that was a weird trick to ask an animal to do, however these people were rednecks so maybe it wasn't that out of the ordinary for them.

I decided to humor their request, and clopped my front left hoof against the dirt a total of ten times. "Wow, Pa! We just hit the jackpot!" Exclaimed the son, who began to get giddy and excited. "You're right, boy! Henry's prized show-stallion broke a limb, so he won't be able to ride him while presenting the rodeo tomorrow! But, with this well-trained Clydesdale stallion, he'll be able to do just that! On top of that, we'll make some good coin selling 'em too!" I felt rather proud to be so desired, despite the fact that I had just been transformed into a farm animal.

"I've handled a few Clydesdales in my youth! The rodeo's in a couple of days, so we should have enough time to get him fitted and prepared. Son, bring him to the barn, and tomorrow we're gonna pretty him up!" The son did as he was told, and proceeded to give me a sharp smack on the behind to follow him. I did as asked and followed him to the barn, where he pointed me towards an empty stall. The sharp stench of animal fecal matter penetrated my nostrils, but I strangely got used to it pretty fast.

After a long night of running and transforming, I was glad to finally get some rest. I spent a few moment whipping my tail at oncoming flies, to get a little practice in. Then, I went to sleep in the stable and dreamed of my future of horse shows and grooming. In the morning, the farmer and his son got to work on preparing me for the rodeo. I mane brushed using soft strokes of a brush, as my fur coat was giving a good bucket washing. My coat was expertly cleaned, and after a while, the farmer came with a new pair of shoes. Horse-shoes, that is! I was fitted with these strange steel pieces of protected plating, as they were fastened to my hooves. I took a few steps and let out a delighted whinny as the steel of the shoes clacked against the ground.

I knew I was probably enjoying this too much, however I had never felt this important before! The farmer and his son took good care of me for the next day or so. Finally, the day of the rodeo came and I was excited. The farm had already gone and phoned Henry, everything was prepared. However, only one thing was missing. "We've been taking care of this stallion for the past couple days but..." Said the father, "We still haven't named him!" The son handed me a carrot and said, "What about Rocket, pa? For the way he rocketed into our lives!" Exclaimed the son, as I munched on the carrot. "What do you say to that, boy? You want to be called Rocket?"

I spent a minute or so and finished the carrot, I then let out a confirmative "WHINY!" The father nodded his head, and the son looked excited. I was brought into a steel carrier, as my hooves clacked against the metal of the carrier. I was brought to the Rodeo, after a rather long hour of travelling. I climbed out of the carrier, and proudly trotted outside the stadium. I was somewhat nervous, yet I convinced myself that all I had to do was behave like a well-trained animal. Henry met us at the door and couldn't believe his eyes. "Well, I'll be!" He exclaimed, "How on god's green earth did you get a trained Clydesdale in this short amount of time?"

"It's a little big of magic, cousin!" Exclaimed the farmer, who proudly smacked my bottom once again. As I felt his hand dig into my leather rump, I let out a whiny and began trotting towards the man. He wore a fancy suit, with a color I couldn't properly distinguish. "Let's see if this pure-bred Clydesdale is up to snuff! It's ShowTime!" He said, as I followed him to the back of a stable, the farmer and son following closely behind. I was fitted with a bridle and tack, ready to look my best for the rednecks at the show. After the fitting, the show began and Henry was ready to make the opening speech.

He hopped on my saddle, and smacked the reigns. I trotted into the middle of the stadium, and stood idle as Henry was handed the microphone. "I'm glad you're all here today! We've got a lot of fine tricks lined for you ladies and gents! I hope you all enjoy!" He said, in a booming voice. His speech carried on for a while, as I was lost in thought. I should be afraid, be trapped in a different body and as a different species. Yet, everything felt strangely euphoric and I was enjoying myself a lot.

Soon enough, Henry had finished his speech and handed the microphone back to someone who was going to sing the national anthem in a few moment. Before we left stadium however, I let out a victorious whinny from my equine muzzle. Henry smiled and matted my mane, as I felt extremely proud of my accomplishment. I was the first human turned horse, to ever be the main announcer's stallion! I was so proud of myself, as I left the arena and was escorted back to the stable. I knew I had a unique life ahead of me, I was prepared to face it all with pride and with my large rump!

Additional Notes: This collection will be host to a bunch more future stories. I also take story requests if you have any. Also, don't forget to vote on the Wild Life pole, the five most voted options will be made into stories and added to this collection. I'd also like if, when reviewing this, you take the time to tell me which stories you liked the most and which parts of them you find are your favorite and which parts you didn't enjoy. This isn't a necessity, but I'd like to know what parts of the transformation people like most and what parts they would like me to focus on in the future.
