An attempt to an idea for a short story, with my own conclusion out of it... :)
There is a story that I have been told, it is of a time when our globe was oblivious to the complexity of what it has become now; when the globe bore the true radiance of the colours that are dulled by dust and black clouds which form by the evil machines on which we depend upon now. It was a story of 'the great white bird'.

In a time where the great big beasts were alive and humans were yet to be developed to what the 'modern man' is now. Our kind was surrounded with the beauty of the purest of greenery with foods that no trans fats would satisfy. In this time a great white bird with the white so radiant even in the darkest of skies would create an illusion of day as it flew by. It is said that when the gods choose a creature humble and true it will be awarded with enlightenment. The Bird would fly across the sky and shed one feather which would fall on the chosen one by the guidance of the gods who controlled the winds; as the feather would touch upon the creature, it would be free from ignorance, and have the knowledge of which we all need and are born to achieve. The myth continues that when the Bird has sheds the last of it's feathers, will mean the gods have lost all hope onto us........................

Everytime I stand outside on the terrace just losing myself as the wind blows onto my face, and I shut my eyes and imagine as if I am suspended in the sky looking over at my house from 200feet above. I see a feather falling down so slow as though it defies the rules of gravity and as if the gods are directing it to someone, reminding me of the myth as I look at the feather fall from me as I am flying, suspended in the position of the great white bird. As the feather just reaches low where it could touch the ground. I finish my tea and hope someday I would witness such a mythical site and hope to witnessing 'the great white bird' shed it's feather on someone who can guide me through this horrendeous mess of life.

But then I think that we are all great white birds, as we all choose someone to guide us and just as this mythical creature of the gods chooses more than a single one I believe we too have the choice to choose our multiple guides who would help us through this crowd to our heaven...........
