A star's philosophy on stuff.
I shoot across
The sky at night
And leave a
Trail shining bright

I twinkle in
The midnight sky
At my secrets
Galileo tried pry

Sometimes the clouds
Block my shine
I glow though
Shrouded with brine

I live through
Millennium and century
I know my
End will be

An explosion of
Glittering star dusts
As my being
Suddenly, spontaneously combusts

But now I
Will not strife
I'll make my
Mark through life

I have seen
The ancients rise
And fall to
Their own demise

I could tell
You history's tale
Large and grand
As a whale

Civilizations always fall
Same with me
And I will
Leave a legacy

The powder I
Shed at death
Will eventually create
New, young breath

As I look
At the surrounding
I see Earth
As I'm passing

I return to
Fly in space
Another meteor, for
Impact I brace
