Christmas gift given to me from my cousin.
EDIT
My cousin entered the house with a very huge and broad smile, which almost took over her face completely. With excitement, joy and happiness she announced, "I have a Christmas gift for you!" Out the door, and down the wheelchair ramp we went rushing into the street. No Christmas gift around, where was this gift? It was cold, so naturally I wanted to return home, but the excitement kept me following my cousin. Calmly and gently she called someone, but she was ahead of me by many yards, so I didn't see or hear what was happening. Quickly she returned to me and presented my gift. Suddenly my Christmas gift was in my lap snuggling close, singing her joy and happiness to me because she felt safe and warm. It was love at first sight! My lap warmer pushed away the cold, was soft, and had a coat of orange with white patches. She even wore mittens. Luna was polydactyl which means she has extra toes.

It would have been very, very difficult for Sharon to hide Luna from me until Christmas, and she had to know for certain if I wanted to add another family member to the household. My cousin being an animal lover would not have left Luna outside in the freezing cold, neither would I, so there was no question in my mind about the best course of action. After all, this gift choose us, she found Sharon and begged to be gathered into her arms. How could I resist such a loving gift. I also didn't want to disappoint Sharon because she remembered when I told her if I got another cat it would be an orange tabby.

Luna had a name before Sharon found her, or rather, she found Sharon. Lulu was loved and well cared for by a young mother who a month ago brought a baby boy into the world. Unfortunately, this mother wasn't able to financially care for Lulu, so Sharon talked with her, then of course get me involved. Lulu, soon to become Luna, because all I could think about when I though Lulu was lunatic. This sweet, adorable, and lovable orange tabby cat did not seem like a lunatic to me.

Luna is most likely 6 to 8 month old, I'll have to ask my neighbor about her history. Along with Luna came two other Christmas gifts. My cousin, Sharon said she would help me with the expenses of buying food, toys, and cat litter. Oh that makes three more gifts! This has turned out to be a wonderful and awesome holiday season, thanks Sharon.
