A quandary of emotion that overshadows a new relationship
Where are you now that you have unnerved me,

bringing me to a place I never wanted to be.

Why did you leave me drowning in a pool of honesty,

knowing you were to run westward so recklessly

I am here:

Waiting.

Longing.

Wishing.

Desiring.

Will you return to my arms?

Will you embrace my love?

Will you bring more of you to me?

What else might you have for me then?

Should I wait?

Uncertain that I could host your return.
