The story of how a real girl tells you what it's like to be in the female body.
Hi. I'm Amy. I am 17 years old and this is my point of view on what it is like to be a woman. Now, you're probably thinking, "We know, periods." I disagree. It isn't just periods. If you're a male and reading this, be prepared for the worst.

Let's start with gravity, shall we? Gravity is a woman's mortal enemy. One thing gravity affects is our faces. Over time, we get saggy. Our eyes aren't as
bouyant as before. Our rosy cheeks turn into floppy pieces of ham and the necks that you once munched on turn into turkey gaggles. The next thing that totally gets destroyed are our breasts. I know, I'm 17 years old. I am not old enough to know yet. But, I have plenty of female relatives who are not shy about their bodies. Especially, not their breasts. If you put pudding in a bag, and hold it to your chest, that would basically resemble how the older breasts dangle from our torso. Yet, men judge us for the downfalls even though we have hardly any control over how far the ground pulls us.

Next, we move to emotions. I don't understand why I cry most of the time. The tears just burst if someone yells at me or I accidentally fart in class. We become more self-concious because that's how our lives are set up to be. Women are meant to be goddesses in the eyes of man. Therefore, emotions are brought upon me when I don't look good enough. I also am a very jealous woman. That, too, links back to self-worth issues. I've had plenty of pigs cheat on me and destroy my ego with just one punch from the trust fairy. All of them end in tears. I have not yet to find a man that hasn't made me cry. We just have different hormones. Usually, when they say the pretty ones are the crazy ones, it's usually because the pretty part of the woman makes up for the crazy part in the head.

Finally, the time has come to weight. Our bodies retain water. We are designed to hold children in our bodies. It really makes me upset when a male calls a pregnant woman fat. They have a human being... inside of them... You would be fat if you had a human being inside of yourself, also. I have trouble with weight. I've stopped eating a lot of the times and I take the maximum amount of diet pills that the bottle instructs. Yet, I still have my jiggles. I understand if you're a little chubby. I get it. I'm not the skinniest girl on the block. But, I do draw the line when you have trouble fitting into seats. Our bodies are meant to be as comfortable as possible for a baby. Fat tends to be comfortable. Plus, fat means bigger breasts and rear ends, which I know attracts males. I don’t know why, but it works.

So, that’s my rant on why it’s hard being a woman in a man’s world. We have issues with our bodies and personalities. Sadly, men do, too. That's called being human.
