The Red Nymph:  A supernatural being who seeks a lover.  She is from another realm and cannot return without a human man.  When the evening comes she is a femme fatale of unimaginable beauty.  She dances all night to find her true love  Men flock to her but she never finds the one.  This is proven by the stain of a burnt kiss on every wrong suitor.

her tresses licked with fire,
intense, electric,
under ruby neon signs.
A crazy dance of complete devotion,
with a rapid pulse ignoring speed limits.

She dons the painted persona
and lives on the wild side.
Gypsy blood takes her to the danger zone,
with sirens blazing.
Seeking the fury that always
flickers beneath the mask,
Yearnings, never snuffed.
Dancing to maniac music
in search of her demon lover.

Wanting the flames
hypnotic and tempting,
smoking with excitement,
but never capturing
the sizzling glow of passion lost.
She only finds paper hearts
she leaves crumpled and burning
with red lipstick kisses
that turn to ashes
