Rough draft of a love story. I'll be adding and filling more as time goes by.
"So what plans do you have for tonight?" Sophi asked Jenny, as she stirs her coffee and creamer.

"Plans...Plans?" Jenny was spaced out looking out the window of the coffee shop. It was a grey miserable day. It was misting outside. She was thinking the mist would feel good on a day like today.

"Jenny, snap out of it. You've been a zombie all day today. What's going on?"

Jenny looked up and said, "sorry, I was just thinking of today. It looks like a good day. Yes it is a good day..." Jenny trails off into her thoughts once more.

"Oh, I get it. So madly in love you cant think of anything of anything else."

"Ahhh... Yeah that's it." Jenny was spacing out her words, deep in thought.

"You must have it bad. Look go home and and relax. Take some time for yourself."

"Yeah, I'll do that." Jenny got up and was spaced out, headed for the door. She didn't even touch her coffee.

Mean while while Jenny takes a walk in this fog...

"To be, or not to be." Jumping from couch cushion to chair.

"Check! Knock it off I'm trying to concentrate! I'm trying to writing a poem for Jenny."

Check stopped jumping on the furniture and looked over John's poem. "Ah, a love that is lost is better than a love that will never love."

"Do you have to be right there?" Irritated John shoved his poem into a envelope. "And why do you have to say those things?"

"Love, is a simple thing. Besides you only been dating for a short time." He continue jumping from furniture to furniture.

"I've been dating her for seven years!" Getting annoyed with Check John asked, "Why must you jump on the furniture?"

"The floor is lava, besides its raining outside. I don't want to get wet." Check plops down on the couch. "So when are you going to slap a ring on her finger?"

"Your a grown man, you don't need to jump on the furniture." John looked at the envelope, still irritated with Check, he said, "I was going to do it tonight, but I cant do that if you wont let me write this poem!"

"She has a real winner with you." Check started rocking on the couch with his legs crossed and gripping onto the cushion in front of him.

"You really think so, wait your being sarcastic?"

"So what if I am? Love is so grand that you'd never understand."

"To you love is where the they die, and they really do die for another."

"Can you think of anything more romantic than your love dying in your arms? Is it so wrong to love a lost that had never loved?"

"To be honest, I think you need a straightjacket."

"Look finish your poem, and have a good night."

When John got to the door, someone was knocking on it. John open the door. There was an officer at the door with his rain coat on.
"Are you Johny?"
"Yes."
"This is for you." He hands him a note, and walks away.
John opens the note;

Dear Johny,

I don't know how much longer I can wait. I wanted us to grow old with each other, have children, and grandchildren. But now I don't think I can. It's too late for me now. When you get this please understand I love you so much, but I cant do it anymore. I was checked in a few weeks ago, later to find out I was ending. I can't wait for time to get sick. I sorry but I have to check out.

Love always,

Jenny
