the Forgotten things of youth.
While the winds were on high I stood legs apart amazed as I watched the threads of wisps of clouds streaming across the wide open sky.

My kites long cotton tail was rising and climbing against the bending winds as if the tail had come alive, and was waving down to me saying goodbye to me.

But over the grassy field I continued to run holding the thin cotton string firmly between two of my small fingers

While I was pacing wildly back and forth over the my paper kite had now become more alive climbing upwards to greater unknown heights.

I was now convinced that my kite could now hold its own as I fell to the soft grass tying the live pulling string to my big toe.

I began to slowly fall asleep under the warm sky closing my eye's only to whisper to myself thank you Lord Jesus for my imagination, and my paper kite.
