How can our conscience be used to help us?
This weekend I attended a Special Assembly Day in Plant City, Florida. The theme of our assembly was “Safeguard Your Conscience." The assembly focused on the counsel found in 1Timothy 1:19. I joyfully share them with you, so you may benefit as well.

“Let your conscience be your guide.”

This cliche is accepted worldwide.

Our conscience can help us have insight,

Into the things that are wrong and right.

Dangers that are hidden, we can grasp

Principles that keep us safe, we can clasp.

Is our conscience worthy of trust?

If it is trained by God, it will be just.

Our perceptive powers trained through use, are a must.

When selfish desires from our heart erupt,

Our conscience can become corrupt.

Harmful temptations and bad associations, a trusted conscience, will disrupt.

How can we make our conscience a reliable gauge?

How can our inner voice be reliable and sage?
