Spring

The spring is nearing

Blooming buds and bright blue skies

Yet cold is still here

Summer

The smell of sunscreen

And the white sandy beaches

And sunburns that hurt



Fall

Summer is over

The smell of new school supplies

Hot, humid weather

Winter

The cloudy grey skies

Swaddle me in warmth all day

waiting for some snow
