Finding hope in the Darkness from Love.
Out of Darkness

For the most beautiful girl that has my whole heart

Jazmin

The pitch black darkness surrounded all sides enveloping him as if it were a blanket of ice. Hope was not a thing he could find; he was lost in this new world of utter nothingness. He grasped into the darkness trying to find something, anything, to hold onto. But every sweep of his hands came up empty, nothing, nothing but the cold. His heart was still and all that came from his chest was pain. It was the feeling of perpetual drowning. Panic, fear, and loneliness the only friends to be had; and they weren't the best of company.

He wandered in this state for what felt like an eternity, no end in sight, it was as if all was lost nothing remained for him and there was no way out. His own thoughts were the only thing keeping him moving. Until a small glimmer appeared in the distance, what was this? It was something new, something different in this dark world. Had it been there the whole time? Was he just looking in the wrong places?

He moved closer every step heavy, his breathe fluttering, afraid it was just an illusion. Was it a trick; something too good to be true. But it brightened the closer he got. He could feel warmth again, the sensation coursing through his entire body. The world around him began to become less bleak, less hopeless.

He was finally closing in on the source of this new found happiness, it was so bright his eyes could hardly take it all in, and then something came into view, it was her.

Her beauty was indescribable by mere words; her eyes alone were enough to captivate an army. Her smile could warm the hearts of the coldest tyrants, not even all the splendors of Mother Nature could hold a flame to her.

The pain in his chest subsided; he could feel it again, the warmth flowing through his veins. She brought him out of the darkness, gave him hope, let him know what caring was again, gave him a new look into the future.

If only he could give her the same, he would gladly spend a lifetime to bring her even a shred of the happiness she brought to him. For she gave him the ability to love again, brought new meaning to his life. She was his everything.

And all that mattered to him was her happiness, no matter the outcome; it was his goal to keep her smiling, to keep the light and warmth. To love her with all his heart.

I Love You
