Know do I this: my conviction will last.
Conviction

Beside my fear lay, broken ‘round my mind,
The loom of shadows to plait those from clay.

Through Hemlock offered, declined by a faith,
Numb yet our design of what thoughts might say.

Affixed the fanlight rests easy my key
To harbor but me – to refuge but me.

I sew downcast in my trenches zeal made
What castle hath been above me these days?

I know not future, and I know not past
But know do I this: my conviction will last.
