A poem about the beginning of Spring and its simple joys.
And the honey bees
Floated gently across
The daffodils, hum with them
In
sweet melody, old friend!

And the breeze kissed the
birds, as they burst into
Everlasting song. Chime
Along
with their melody, old friend!

And the sun arrayed herself
In golden white glory, her rays
Slightly twinkling in song. Dance
In abandon
With her melody, old friend!

And the creek rushed in soft
Currents, bubbling and flowing
In gushing song. Sway in joy
With
her melody, old friend!

And the trees, moved by
Breeze, swirled their branches
And sang with ease. Twirl
Without care
To their melody, old friend!

And let the voices surround
You, and fill you with their
Freshness, and let the colors
and fragrances sweep you
Away with their charm....

For it is the melody of Spring,
and let your heart, let your
Voice, old friend,
Sing a beautiful song.
