A poem about a girl stuck inside a world of self mutilation.
Pretty Little Lines

She hides from the world
Like the scared little girl
That she used to be
Cause' that all she still sees

She's trapping herself
Though she really wants help,
But no ones around
So she won't make a sound.

"I deserve this" she says
Again and again
The days are so hard,
And her arms are so scarred.

Self destruction is all she ever knew
As years went on, her self hatred grew.
Now the night rolls in and she's sipping on wine
As she embellishes her skin with pretty little lines.
