April 23 was Home Run Day. Here's to all the players past, present and future. Batter up!
First Homerun

Woosh! Swing-crack!
The ball is in the air. It’s going-
The air is filled with suspense
going
The ball has cleared the fence.
GONE!
The little player smiles
as he touches every base.
He hears the shouts.
His heart beats fast.
A smile grows on his face.
His teammates run to
pat him on the back.
After the game was won,
he would eat a little snack.
For little Hank this
was a special day.
His first homerun he’d
take with him
to the big leagues
where he loved to play.

Hank Aaron his his first home run in 1954. He is one of many great home run hitters!
